I see this inevitably ending in 105/808 makeout sessions.
All kidding aside, I would love to have a go at teaming up Iris and Alice. I thought about trying to get 808 into Abel's task force, but I think instead I'd like to have her interact with Cain, due to his interesting implants…
I'd like to see that too.
The Cain and 808 thing that is, although I wouldn't say no to the other…
Sweet! I will proceed with your blessing. First I want to finish up the Dr. Bishop arc, but if that plays out the way I think it will, it will be a logical next step to introduce her to Cain.
Cool. PM if you want any extra info on Cain.
Well, poo, since it's bloody obvious that I'll probably be doing that, just send me what you think I'd need to know to write this up.
Hey, I wouldn't mind writing or cowriting the account. I just didn't want to step on any authortorials toes… anymore then I already have, at least.
At the very least, I think the first encounter might end somewhat negatively — I just keep seeing SCP-808 saying "She gets a camera! I don't even get a pocket calculator!"
Hey now, 808 has that swanky Victrola to play records on.
Well, the suggestion was mostly in service to that terrible mistress dramatic conflict BUT I do think the essential difference is that SCP-105 is allowed to be much more open with using her abilities (she also has to work with Senior Psychopath, however). From the early manifestation of SCP-808's abilities, Alice probably incorporated the companionship of uplifted electrical devices the same way other introverted children might form deep relationships with books. It may be deep down, simmering and subconsious, but I think the Foundation's denial to Alice of any electrical device would be a strong source of animosity from Alice.
I think that Iris could serve as good example to Alice, and that the two would most likely form a bond after a few encounters. They are just so alike, and are so otherwise isolated, it's implausible they would avoid forming a bond. The evolution and nature of that bond (as well as its missteps) would be interesting to see.
Iris could serve as a good example? You are aware that she escaped once and is presently under surveillance, right? ;)
In any case, I'm developing a parallel storyline with Alice that teams her up with Cain, so in that respect, Iris would be opposed to her by some default simply due to the Cain/Abel animosity.
Okay, cool. Actually, having considered it a bit, I may try to work the meeting into Wanderlust, since it's already become an unbelievably beastly free-for-all after only two chapters anyway…
I'm not too sure about the picture. I don't like the look of it. Maybe a different picture?
I'm in agreement here. It's the hairstyle, I think. I do favor blocking out the face/eyes as a technique, though, and may swipe that for 808's photo.
Actually, I quite liked the way Alice looked.
But you're right, it really is the 80's hairdo. And that horrendous shirt.
It bothers me that apparently SCP-105's picture was obtained from one of her camwhoring sessions :[
Since my sister watched O'Grady, once upon a time, SCP-105 Iris will always be the O'Grady Iris. However, this is probably unfortunate for her, as she was voiced by Jon Benjamin of Coach McGurk lack-of-fame.
Insert obligatory "OMG I lieked the old Iris better!!1!" here. But seriously, the old Iris was much more endearing. I don't like blonds.
Edit: Sorry. Confused 105 and 808. Mental note to think more before I type.
AAAAAH! It's the old photo again! Last time I said what's wrong with it, it got expunged by the mods, so I'll just say that it has something to do with the Dr. above me.
The report indicates that SCP-083 had no adverse reaction to drinking the blood SCP-105. Both reports are unclear as to how a house could drink blood, indicating there may be a typo in the SCP number.
Addendum 105-04: SCP-105 has requested 1 (one) Bible (NIV translation) and barring from testing on Sunday mornings. (Permission Denied [permission denial redacted as unconstitutional])
Riiiiight. Something tells me the Foundation doesn't worry too much about silly things like 'the Constitution' or 'laws'.
That said, is there any reason we can't give her a bible?
(Although foregoing testing on Sundays - don't be preposterous.)
