My first attempt at posting a tale. If it's weird, that's because it's based on a dream I had two days ago. Also because I wrote and edited it an hour before bed each time.

It was interesting, btu sleep deprivation has consumed a lot of proccessing power from my brain, so I'll read it again tomorrow to properly vote. What I can say is that it was a bit hard tio understand, but it worths the effort of not using my keyboard as a pillow.

Same here, its an interesting story that seems very vivid, however I to, am too sleep deprived to process something like this, also if you want to make more vivid extra-dimensional stories you can probably write something for either the S & C plastics hub.

i am constantly sleep deprived and i like this. Dreams are my main source of … this stuff and im glad to see that someone was able to do so too.

1) Your story seems sort of Lovecraftian. Or, more specifically, very Lovecraftian, except minus the nihilism, horror, dread, and fear of the unknown. Also, the anomalous object vaguely reminds me of the Shining Trapezohedron from the Lovecraft story The Haunter of the Dark. I'm curious as to if Lovecraft in general or The Haunter of the Dark in particular had any part in inspiring your dream or in influencing how you wrote the story.

2) I assume that the dark figures swallowed by the tendrils become SCPs? If so, did the dream version of the researcher become the anomalous object of the story?

1) I have never read a Lovecraft story before. My only actual experience with it is hearing bits and pieces from friends and playing Arkham Horror.

2) I actually intended the stars as the things that become SCPs, but there's no reason why the black things can't. And, well, obviously you are just a Clever McCleverson, the only person who possesses enough intelligence to see into my very crafty and cunning plans. Thank you for appreciating the full weight of my authorial vision, kind soul!

(Spoilers: It's totally an unintentional reading, but that would make a great deal of sense if it were the case.)
