The setting itself, and the implications and potential backstory of its discovery or creation are what interests me about this scp. Unfortunately, so such of the article focuses on this person of interest, who, isn't at all interesting to me. I guess I'm just not getting enough of a sense of him as a fleshed out character to relate to him, emotionally.
Something in the exploration log confused me: the POI said he had died 9 times? Are you saying he has been in and out of the salt world, then, 10 times (if you include the exploration with the foundation)? Yet, supposedly he was trapped there? Was he trapped the first time, learned how to leave, then returned over and over, or am I just not putting something together here? I though maybe it implied previous explorations with the Foundation, not listed here, but the dialogue in this one certainly implies it's the first successful attempt at accessing the salt world.
Lastly, I think it merits mention in the containment procedures that some measures are being made to investigate the source of this ritual, since this scp can be accessed with knowledge that was present in book form (published, or hand-written, either way, this knowledge is out in the world for someone to know or discover), and re-created with very accessible materials.
