Had the idea for this one a few months ago, but how to execute it just came to me recently.
So it's Robocop but before they had the right technology to rebuild him? Jalopycop? Excellent. +1
WW1 Robocop is a pretty cool idea. Especially with the description of how they made the dude's body work.

SCP-1914: How's the war going? Have we won yet?
I love all of this, especially this line.
Imagine his reaction if they told him "You won the war. But it was YEARS ago."
Wait, what's this? A Smapti SCP that doesn't contain an historical error bad enough to make me want to pull my intestines out through my throat? It's a miracle!
In all seriousness, this is rather nice, and I'm happy to upvote it. I do think the mechaincal details go on for a bit too long, but that's just me.
But… I wouldn't be me if I didn't find some historical discrepancies, now would I?
SCP-1914: Sixteen. I told the recruiter I was twenty-one. My folks were livid, but all my friends were joining up too and I thought I ought to do something.
Legal recruitment age to the British Armed Forces was eighteen at the time. A sixteen year old would pass as an eighteen year old much more easily than as a twenty-one year old, and so it would make more sense if he said that instead of twenty-one (or even nineteen, if he didn't want to be too obvious about it).
E: also, for sheer convergence's sake, I choose to believe that it was on his recruitment letters that SCP-1595-48 appeared on.
