The journal entries seen here used to be a part of an article I posted in 2017. I have long-since self-deleted it, though you can see an archived version of that article here: URA-2641. I think this version works a lot better. Here is an excerpt of the original author post from that 2017 article:

Hello everybody, this is my first skip!

I've been working on this ever since the start of the 3000 contest (though it's not related to that contest by any means, I will admit the contest was a huge inspiration for my skip). I'd like to thank the following users for providing me with feedback over various iterations of this skip. Voct, Thetataurus, thewalkindude, MrWrong, OrdinaryAnomaly, Aurox, and MrAnakinSpecter. As well, thanks to saezi on Reddit for further feedback, and to Communism will win for test log inspiration. Further thanks to anyone in #site19 that took part in brainstorming.

Currently, this is a standalone piece.

Special thanks to TSATPWTCOTTTADC for providing some much-needed final feedback.

On further thought, I've taken the liberty of tagging this article with "fifthist". That probably needs an explanation. Though, I think I'll leave it to the readers to figure out.
