I've been passively developing a couple idea for SCP articles, most based on dreams, a couple not. I'd like to throw 'em out here and see what some people think, if I might.
First off a large, rusted, metal machine, composed of a trapezoidal tunnel, a conveying belt running through the tunnel, and a control panel to the side. When A person is run through the machine, jets activate along the tunnel spewing copious amounts of fire, likely of some unnatural color. What it basically does is burn away "sin", in a conservative fashion. People run through the machine become very naive and trusting, often to the point of a young child, and are very prone to writing prose praising the machine and conservative lifestyles. Probably related to CotBG pretty easily.
Secondly, "A Terrible March". Basic idea is an old civil-war era war song, the type that drummer boys would play for soldiers to march in time into battle. The song was written to accomplish this goal much more efficiently, but with the side effect of causing every motion of a person to be made in time with the song, permanently, to very detrimental effect.
Third, and probably my favorite, is based on a very weird dream I had. A large, shaggy creature that looks like a mix between a nondescript species of dog and a giant panda, bearing six legs. It lived on a remote island around southeastern asia, until it was found for some Foundation reason. It has a mental effect on people, causing half of people exposed to it to be utterly convinced that it is an intelligent and manipulative, and very very dangerous, beast. The other half exposed to it develop hardly any opinion at all of it, just regarding it as a big dopey fuzzy creature. Most of the mystery would come from who it exactly it's effecting, who is right about the beast, or is anyone at all right, even.
After that comes sort of a sillier idea, but one I still like. An old 50's television set with a large gaping hole in the back of it's casing. When the screen of it is looked through from the front side, things are rendered in old timey cartoon fashion. When looked through the other side, cartoonish things are rendered realistically. Mickey Mouse would be viewed through the back as a real mouse, etc. Throw in some joke about Goofy being rendered as a horrible dog-man.
SO, opinions, go.
