Sad yet ironic. I consider myself good at coming up with potential ideas, but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty I tend to get frustrated and lose interest. Sadly, details are what the Foundation is all about.

I've been lurking for months, and have yet to actually publish anything. My current sandbox page is a sullen, depressing list of half-attempted SCPs and other horrors. Regardless, here's some potential concepts free to anyone, with the hope that I'll be able to add to the site in some way.

+ Displaced Predator" hide = "- Hide

A person or creature. All light they reflect and all sound they make do not appear until X minutes into the future. Originally going to be a person, who has grown quite mad and murderous due being unable to hold a proper conversation or have anyone notice him. Interviews with the foundation are done via Keypad and computer, which can be operated easily and instantly. He also believes that his after-image is some kind of monster that's constantly stalking him, and refuses to touch it or be near it too long.

+ Ruinsception" hide = "- Hide

An enormous ruined structure underground, clearly some sort of prison or vault with advanced weaponry, defenses, and architecture. After much effort the Foundation breaks in and discovers another set of ruins of different make, slightly less advanced. The foundation also breaks in with effort, and finds more ruins of different make, slightly less advanced and sturdy. This continues for a while, with each layer becoming easier to penetrate. As of the time of the entry, the volume of the ruins getting very small indeed, with maybe one or two layers made of clay, rocks, and rotted shamanistic charms. Command is wondering whether or not it's worth finding out what's in the last chamber, considering all the effort made to lock it up.

Edit your post, it looks like you forgot the end quotation marks. That should make it work.

EDIT: That's on the hidden= part. The show= is missing the open quotations.

I like the first idea a lot, and might well use it sometime in the future once I decide to start writing SCPs and get a handle on the actual article design. Thanks in advance!

The first one makes no sense to me.

I didn't like the second one until, like, the last sentence which actually explained what it was, that it's containing something. Before that I assumed it was just a comedy strange layered place. Why is it weaker the deeper they go, as opposed to all one strength the whole way, or weaker toward the outside?

Because the container was built up over time. The first layer was low-tech and minimal, the second layer was higher-tech and stronger, the third layer was stronger still, and so on. The Foundation is going through the ruins in the opposite order they were built, starting with the expansive and futuristic outermost passages.
