Hello all!
I got a link from this on Tvtropes at least two years ago (I believe the particular SCP I looked up was 701, which as an aspiring actor I found incredibly freaky), and I've always found a lot of this site fascinating. I've been lurking on and off for most of that time, but I only really started thinking about applying a week or two ago. I'd previously considered joining shortly after I started lurking, but the extremely complex application form at that time scared me off. Thanks to everyone for making such an addictive site, and thanks to Bright for letting me in (I hope you aren't going to regret it).
I've got an idea or two for articles rattling around in my head that have accumulated during my lurkership, but I'm going to keeping looking around the wiki and seeing what sort of articles are well-received here before I start typing. I'll probably be roaming the wiki voting on articles and adding discussion comments in the near future.
