I know this is early (this is my first post since introduction thread), hence I'm posting an announcement thread for approval before I post it as an actual article. Hope you don't mind!

As I've said in the description, I am aware this is early - however, I've had it buzzing around for a while, and I'd like to get some feedback, and see if my SCP-writing abilities are up to par, or if they need improvement.

The description of the effect is a little unclear. Does the person vanished by the statue ever reappear? What does the adding the second drop of blood accomplish?

I haven't specifically stated what happens to the SCP-1106-02's, but I meant to imply that there have been no reappearances of the 'victims' - in the final article I will be sure to state (perhaps in a second addendum) that there have been no recorded/reported instances of SCP1106-02's reappearing.

As for the second drop of blood thing, I may not have been clear enough - basically, a second drop of blood from any donor/victim would not activate the SCP, instead just dissolving along with the item of the previous SCP-1106-02, until the item has fully dissolved, after which SCP-1106-01 becomes active again (upon which it will need another drop of blood to initiate the SCP-1106-02 event again) (basically 48hours after the original drop of blood has been received by SCP-1106-01)

So, adding more blood after the SCP-1106-2 event doesn't do anything useful in particular? It might streamline better if their blood just vanished with the rest of them.

I believe this section is best suited to one or two sentence proposals, while full drafts work best in the sandbox or Pastebin.

I think this idea has merit,however it seems to be missing a compelling hook. It has a quiet melancholy to it. I don't understand the prized possession part, it does not seem to add to the story. If the angel only took the sick or dying it would be even less creepy but I might like it better. It would still be mysterious and if it was well done it might be good.

Should another drop of blood be placed in the subject's hands within this period, the subject's neutral facial expression will change to a frown, and the blood will dissolve with the possession without the disappearance of either SCP-1106 or another SCP-1106-02 event occurring.

This part also doesn't seem to make sense to me.

I posted a pastbin link in the ideas section, hopefully that was a more appropriate place to recieve scp authors wanting feedback.

I didn't particularly want to overtly reveal it, but the implication is the statue takes the SCP-1106-02 to Heaven, hence the engravement, the appearance of the statue, and the prized material possession - "easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to go to Heaven", hence the destruction of the most prized material possession, and the compulsion to offer the blood of the "most loved one". I'm not sure about the expression change however, it takes from the otherwise inanimate nature of the SCP, which takes from its oddness.

The not-taking-another-person while it's destroying the first object is just to mediate it, it works once every 48 hours basically, if it was offered to regularly.

I'll answer both questions in this reply.

Adding a second blood of drop from the same donor as the first would just dissolve the second drop with no additional effects. The person has already been 'taken' - a second drop of blood is wasteful. Further drops of blood from the same donor would not elicit a response (until the SCP becomes active again after the 48hour period of taking/dissolving the material possession). Drops from other donors after the aforementioned period would re-activate the SCP-1106-02 event with a new SCP-1106-02 subject. Things like these can be addressed in test logs, etc.

A donor other than the most loved would still activate the response - as would any donor. It's just that, due to the implication of 'Heaven', the most loved one is the one targeted by the memetic effect, due to the status as most loved and wanting the best for them - it ties into the 'Heaven' thing.
