I admit it. I laughed.
The picture alone is made of win.
Now if only we could fit SCP-682 into a minivan…
Actually, it would be better to strap some wheels to the site and a small steering wheel somewhere, evacuate and watch it go up in flames.
More like have Dr. Gerald take a leisurely bike ride down the hallways and have everyone take the day off… or just put all the D-class personnel in one room with him and roller blades for their end-of-the-month termination.
Or put SCP-682 in an extremely large trailer, and Dr. Gerald in the front seat…plus a few barrels of radioactive waste, plus TNT and possibly some flares.
And dispatch it to somewhere with lots of highways. Or really dangerous highways.
No, I think the word(s) you're looking for would be slightly more along the lines of 'not serious'.
It's a -J. Deal with it.
Something can be not serious, and stupid at the same time. While I admit, I find it humorous, obviously Yoric feels otherwise. _j's still have to be GOOD.

I laughed all the way through. A few points, though:
- "Testing has shown that anyone who manages to escape a vehicle that he has been driving as it moves is still doomed to death" This is long and awkward, and followed by a semicolon. You might want to cut down this sentence and/or split the two, to keep the flow of the paragraph.
- "Dr. Gerald himself, oddly enough, always survives whatever horrors he puts a vehicle through." This is just me being a grammar person, but it's 'whatever horrors through which he puts a vehicle'. Dangling participles are optional, though.
- "throwing themselves in his path" I feel like this should be 'into his path'.
There are probably more, but I just woke up ten minutes ago and might end up over-nitpicking. Get with me on IRC if you want a full proofread. Again, hilarious article.
This strikes me as…not so great. It's not an SCP so much as a concept. Or an observation. SCP's are -generally- objects at least, and this would make Dr. Gerald the SCP.
Er, you're replying to a 7 year old post to someone who already knew this. He didn't say that it wasn't a -J, too.

happy belated 8th birthday, post

I dunno, I didn't find this one terribly funny. The SCP format doesn't seem like the right one to fit the subject matter.
Addendum 666-2: Plans are being made to construct a vehicle which can contain SCP-682 long enough for Dr. Gerald to actually drive it.
Killing 682 with a vehicle…
Fuck you! Fuck all of you!
I'm fucking through with this!
I'VE HAD IT!
I've been doing this
for 28 fucking years
and I can't take it anymore.
And for the fucking asshole who told me to fuck off:
fuck you! That's it! I'm done!
Fuck you all
*grabs two beers and pops the chute*
Didn't you see? People who leave the vehicle still die. But nice try, Mr. Slater :|
no see I actually told the joke about killing 682 with something as stupid as a car first, and specifically because I was sick of people doing stupid things to kill 682 such as the example provided here
</explainingthejoke>
You're necroposting to a post made in jest that is almost five years old. Please check dates on posts before replying to them, and if you reply to an old comment, don't reply to it with an insubstantial comment.
Shitposting as well, even if this wasn't a necropost.
Don't pull this sort of thing again.
