Even the midst of the madness, there is humor. And I like the idea of him using magic to fight magic or whatever the Key is. Or maybe it wasn't magic? Maybe the fact that he believed it was magic made him sane enough to seal up the Key. Whatever, I love this thing.

no it needs the satanistic part. That implies that the key could be the key to happyness and a peacefull afterlife (thas why most people try to spread it).
but the satanist does not believe in that and has the means to wipe his own mind. the whole thing would not work without the satanist.
