The image was taken from here: http://www.ldoceonline.com/media/english/illustration/salt.jpg
This image is used on multiple websites, and I could not find any sort of copyright on it. If you feel this does not comply with the site's image policy, I will remove it and find an alternative.
The site (more accurately the owning company) you linked claims a copyright on the image by virtue of it being hosted there (I trawled their copyright page to be sure). Leaving aside if that claim is valid or not, if you can't find a CC compliant version to point to, the image is still in violation of the images policy.
Gotcha. I took my own photo, but it's not letting me upload it to the page right now, or delete the current photo through my phone. I'll upload the new one at work tomorrow when I have PC access.
Sure. In the mean time, in accordance with our policy, I've removed the image code. You'll also be receiving a PM from me about it, but that's just a formality to let you know I've edited your piece.
It took me a couple of readings to get the 'joke', and, even after I did, it simply wasn't particularly funny. I know it's written in a way that's supposed to be done so on purpose, but the site is trying to step away from the 'lolfoundation' years, and you're just trying to submit an article way beyond its date of relevance. To me, it's simply not funny, nor is it well written, or even interesting.
it fine if you not think funny, but lolfoundation have nothing do -J articles. is unnecessary goo on article, bad comparison. deadly on my heart.

This is only true for articles on the mainlist. If lolfoundation helps the joke, then it should be included in a -J.
Well, it's snails/slugs(?) treating salt as an anomaly. Cute, but not really a joke worth an article.
I like this - it needs some more elaboration and polishing, but I think the core idea can work. It's stupid, cute and silly, and you need to push those as far as they can go while maintaining the tone established here. I wish you hadn't coldposted, because with work this could have been a lot better.
Update: Digging your changes. +1.
my small house is open for suggests. thank for helpful feedback, big guy
The snails got to you, trennerdios! RUN BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
Anyways, this is cute, but not really funny, per say.
Only nerds have signatures
I don't really find this very funny. The best part about this is the names of the slugs and the fact that I read this in a tiny voice upon my second reading. I do however want to see this rewritten, as the idea of Salt containing slugs in lab coats is hilarious.
Downvote is now an upvote for adorable slug scientists.
