There is no way this can go wrong.
I liked this (though I have no idea what's going on) but I'm a little confused as to why there's black-boxing going on, given that this is clearly not any kind of document.
Yeah, that seemed jarringly odd to me too. Obviously a stylistic choice and hopefully it will turn out to be a well considered one.
Like it's name is so unknowable that if you say it white noise comes out or something?
Possibly? Not sure what Randomini intended, but I imagined it as like… just like someone is named Bob or Jane, this being is named █████. Simple as that.
Given that "█████" doesn't correspond to phonemes, I don't know how I am supposed to read it as a pronouncable word. I am guessing that it isn't supposed to be a pronouncable word, therefore.
Given how esoteric this setting is and how someone who died is not dead through no special means, and yet is still a corpse, an unpronounceable name isn't weird to me.
I very much enjoyed the surreal humor of the story. Interested in seeing what exactly is going on, and where the story is going to go.
And if the whole world is crashing down… fall through space out of mind with me.
Of course Randomini wrote this. This has Randomini written all over it, in words that are considerably more varied than just "Randomini" and also quite pleasing to the mind when read sequentially.
I want to know what 'xelembical' is meant to be, since this is literally the only Google search result for the word.
