hunger games simulator made the joke character "beans" pretty op, so here's some op beans.

Elevator Pitch: A swarm of semi-intelligent entities that rapidly absorb biomass before using it to grow via mitosis. Each individual entity is a baked bean.

Central Narrative:
After the mysterious disappearance of a family and an infrared scan revealing a large, rapidly growing and shifting heat signature in their house, the Foundation recovers a small sample of the swarm after eventually nuking the building before discovering the swarm is made of baked beans.
Hook/Attention-Grabber:
A deadly swarm that eats anyone who tries to stop it…made from something completely absurd.

Heya!

This is giving me grey goo vibes. Also, the anomaly is notable but what narrative are you considering with this? At the moment the Foundation nuking it feels both: overkill, and Destroy, Destroy, Destroy which is antithetical to the Foundation motto.

What happened to the family? Where did the baked beans come from? How did the Foundation find out about the family/beans? What happens when someone eats to beans? Or tries to eat the beans? What about unbaked beans that are in the same house? Do the beans bake themselves? You say they are semi-intelligent, what do you mean by this? What do they do? What are they capable of doing? Are they able to communicate?
