Page Type: SCP Article
Genre (Optional): Drama/Emotional
Elevator Pitch: The GOC and the Foundation send a JTF into space to deal with a GOC superweapon from another universe - the GOC members from both sides have to confront their organization's ideology
Central Narrative: Foundation probes detect a spacecraft on a highly eliptical orbit, coming from the other side of the sun. They recieve a transmission from the craft's communications officer - the ship is heavily damaged and carries a weapon designed to destroy anomalies with anny amount of casualties acceptable; the comms officer is the only one who wants to stop this. The Foundation and GOC scramble an SSTO to disable the weapon before the ship gets visual confirmation of its target. They arrive, and argument quickly breaks out between Foundation and GOC personnel as to how they plan to carry out their mission - training was short and command is letting them figure it out as they go. Eventually they reach a tense compromise, confront the captain of the ship. The lights go out, and someone on our team is shot by the commander with his survival pistol. Eventually they all reach a standoff, and The captain is talked down.
