Hello everyone, Me and some other people are working on this light novel based on the SCP foundation and I want to have a survey of different peoples thoughts on the summary. As some of you may know the already existing light novel called ,”Iris through the looking glass”. I had learned the light novel had quite a bit of controversy and general dislike due to the plot.
And since our light novel has the same basis of an isekai like that light novel, I was not sure whether it would get the exact same controversy or worse than, “Iris through the looking glass”, which is why I am asking for opinions.
Summary
Emerald Kirabiyaka is an American/Japanese high school dropout who spends most of his time surfing the internet. Mostly about the paranormal and creepy pasta. He lives in a universe where the scp foundation is nothing but a fictional organization. (Just like ours)
He is a die hard scp fan and knows about most SCPs as he has been reading articles of them everyday. One night, when he was walking down the streets to a convenient store until he came through a strange door in middle of an alleyway, when the MC entered the door out of curiosity, it shut behind him and it had supposedly teleported him to a different universe (Basic isekai stuff till here), moving on, he finds out that in this world the SCP foundation exist as after some events in the story he was captured and taken to custody by the SCP foundation. And was later on classified as a D-class (after certain incidents during his capture).
The story then follows the MC who, out of pure curiosity, thrives to find the mystery of him being brought to this universe and other anomalies in the foundation, while also trying to survive the various situations and experiments the SCP Foundation puts him through.
