Seeking Greenlights: Yes
Page Type: SCP Article
Elevator Pitch: Grant "wishes" at the cost of user life.
Central Narrative: A coin that grants "wishes" following a coin toss. The coin looks like any other coin and doesn't look too out of place but as soon as someone picks it up, they will begin to hear whimpers telling them to make a wish and flip the coin. If the coin lands on heads, the subject will disappear into another dimension where their wish is "granted" else the coin will disappear; this only applies to the first "wish" as death is granted following later attempts if the coin lands on tails. The coin was recovered on the street of Brooklyn along with clothes and a journal from the individual named Mark containing the SCP property and his slow descent into madness. In Mark's diary, he mentions the coin would always whimper in his head to make another wish. It also details how after 5 wishes, the coin fused with his skin causing him immense pain, as expressed in his crude writing as opposed to earlier entries. The journal stops at presumably Mark's death. The coin was noted to change its appearance based on its geographical location.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: This SCP is a coin that can "grant" wishes to subjects after a coin flip. However, it must continuously land on its head, or else it will kill it's subject aside from the first wish where it would just disappear. The coin is known to mess with the subject head as it injects thought and whispers into the subject. If a subject were to die from the coin flip, they would be considered lucky, as detailed by Mark since the coin will fuse with its user the more wish they make, causing them indescribable pain to which death seems like a better alternative.
Additional Notes: This is my first time making SCP, so any feedback you could give no matter how harsh would be appreciated as it would help me refine my idea.
