Elevator Pitch: A man is found brutally murdered in a back-alley, with no witnesses and no indicators of what could've possibly killed him so violently. The Foundation quickly takes over and establishes the scene, calling in one of their specialist 'Ghosteater' detectives - detectives capable of post-mortem interrogation. Our detective learns that the murder was a message to the capitalistic giant Prometheus from MC&D, and that they (the detective) weren't supposed to find this out and survive.

Central Narrative: A man is murdered by an MC&D informant in a back alley following an attempted deal gone wrong. The man was a high-level engineer for the capitalistic giant Prometheus, who have begun to manufacture anomalous cybernetic augmentations for the general populace. His name is Sebastian Rutkowski.
Our detective, Casper O'Donnell, is a Ghosteater - a specialised, augmented detective with forensic and necro-neural interrogative capabilities. They are tasked with diving into the mind of the deceased engineer to discover the terms and method of Rutkowski's death, and learns of the MC&D informant responsible. The informant, Marielle Fairchild, had reached out to the engineer in an attempt to secure manufacturing intel while offering him a better job with MC&D. Rutkowski refuses and rather than take an unwilling soul, Marielle murders Rutkowski with a spoken memetic hazard - one that our detective is almost exposed to in diving into Rutkowski's mind.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: A morbid and futuristic twist to interrogations that even the deceased aren't safe from, and conflict between two very powerful organisations that the Foundation just waltzed into.

Additional Notes: This is planned to be a part of a larger anthology/series of a similar vein. This particular tale is set in 2027. There is a completed first-draft on standby.

This is very exciting. I think there is a good set up for a compelling mystery, especially with a kind of futuristic flair. That coupled with the idea of "necro-neural" post-mortem investigation appeals to me in a very strong way.

I feel this deserves a greenlight. I don't really have much to criticize honestly. The information provided is sufficient and concise and indicates that you have a clear idea of what you want to do with this piece.

This is clearly well-thought-out already, and there's plenty here to make an engaging and entertaining tale. Have another greenlight, and get at it.
