Elevator Pitch: A bunch of eyes connected to everyone that become visible to you only if you know about them. and if you visibly acknowledge you know they exist in any way, your die. If you attempt to destroy one, you will just end up killing the person the eye is connected to. One exception to this rule is people with mental conditions who really believe the eyes exist without any evidence, which is extremely rare.
Central Narrative: so, this guy’s mom is insane, and tells him about the “eyes” and he brushes off as nonsense until the actually appear, and his mother dies from them because she screamed. Knowing this, he attempts to inform the police by phone, only to find them all dead a day later. The foundation takes notice of this fact, and makes contact with him. They look into the eyes and find out that every human has one looking over them, and all attempts to destroy them only end in the connected person’s death. They decide to “contain” the information in a D-class and blind him so he can’t see the eyes, yet knows of it. Everyone removes the memory of the incident and the guy is hired.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: The entire idea stems from not looking at someone while they are looking at you
