Hello SCPeople,
In this thread, everyone can chip in a few of their favorite songs that they associate with Halloween or Autumn, along with a small prompt about why they're your favorite. Then, when the big day rolls around, I'll make a playlist of everybody's songs and a document with all of your prompts. I'm not aware that something like this has been done before, and I think it can be a fun way to take a snapshot of the SCP community and its inhabitants as we are now!
It's very simple in concept, but of course we could make it as fancy and fun as we want!
As far as what kinds of songs are allowed, there are basically no rules - anything from your favorite black metal dirge to a song you remember listening to on Halloween night as kid. You can even get memey with it, if you so choose! I only ask that if there are dark themes in the song, you provide appropriate Trigger Warnings. Since I'm sure some of you have a hundred spooky songs that you love (this being the SCP wiki) I'd like to keep it to a limit of 3 songs per person. After a few people have contributed, I'll give my own songs :>
Everyone should feel free to comment on other people's choices, strike up discussions, and compliment each others taste - just keep it positive!
