Elevator Pitch: A group of inflatable pool crocodiles that eat other pool instruments/toys/inflatables and generally act like normal crocodiles.

Central Narrative: A few inflatable alligators are found missing for a warehouse. Presumes to be stolen, not much attention is given to it. A day later, multiple inflatable crocs are found at a river not far from the warehouse, allegedly moving with multiple other deflated and destroyed inflatables near them. The Foundation is called andwith help of GoI-466 "Wilsons Wildlife Solution (still debating, check Additional Notes), they contain them.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: Inflatables that eat other inflatables. Just a silly article, easy to get into.

Additional Notes: Debating whether or not to make this a WWS SCP. Might not be a good idea as it's my first one?

I feel like this would be a joke article. It's nice and chill, but its a joke (Right?). I like it a lot, it's cute.

Forum critique should be relatively in-depth.

Try to make sure you give enough criticism that an author can tell the quality of their entire concept/draft. Could you elaborate more on why you feel it would be a joke article? What elements of this concept comes off as nice and chill? What exactly do you like about it? What about it makes it cute?

White I would say it's a rather silly article, I wouldn't go as far to say I'm making a joke article. I would say that not every article that is a bit silly would necessarily be a joke SCP.

Okay, this is a nice idea honestly and it has room for narrative growth I think. I quite like the idea of these inflatable alligators feasting solely on other inflatables, and I think that can cause some ethical concerns once they're in Foundation custody. Like, are inflatables sentient, or do the alligators just have a unique diet?

That being said, the start of your narrative is definitely here but there could be a lot more to it. These are inflatable alligators after all! My mind immediately wants to go for something heartfelt, given the fragile nature of inflatable pool toys, or perhaps you can make them out to be the last members of their species or something. The possibilities here are almost endless, but you have yet to explore any of them I feel. Be sure to make us feel something with this, whether that be sadness, intrigue or something else entirely!

I kinda like this oddly. I see a SCP-5430 style short form SCP working with this. There isn't much room to push this really, it's a group of inflatable alligators that eat other inflatables. I don't have much to say really about the concept. It's cool.

As for your narrative, I think you can omit the warehouse note, it seems like padding that isn't really needed. I also don't see a reason for WWS other than an extra bump to your article, if you wanted a GOI in this I think Wondertainment would make the most sense. I don't even see the need for a GOI really, I think your main focus should be on characterizing (as much as you can characterize) these alligators.

My advice to you is to read the SCP I mentioned above and focus directly on how you will present this SCP.

Thank you for your feedback! The lenght of the article you mentioned is probably the size I'll be aiming for and I'll keep it in mind when I'm working on a draft. for your other comment, I'll be sure to leave out WWS.

For what it's worth when I read this the first time I remembered from when I was a kid and had a giant inflatable T-Rex in my room. I both really liked it but also felt a little afraid of it in the darkness. The idea of them 'hunting' other inflatables is kind of amusing.
