A type of flower which can cause rapid memory loss, random bursts of adrenaline, and rapid loss of metabolism.

Elevator Pitch: Pustula flowers are a species of flower, a subspecies of the Bulbophyllum pustulatum flower, and grows primarily in cold climates. It appears identical to a Bulbophyllum pustulatum flower, yet with black thorns on the stem. Pustula flowers smell like vanilla extract with a hint of blood to everyone execpt for people with a B+ blood type, to whom it smells like salt with a peppery hint. During photosynthesis, Pustula flowers excret a thick, orange, liquid from their pollen. This substance is called Pustula Serum, and is freezing cold.

Pustula Serum leaves no mark on any surface, and has a strong taste of blood and limes, while tasting like "Ash covered in honey" to those with a B+ blood type. When ingested, results vary, yet seem to cause the victim to lose metabolism, and suffer from a number of potential effects.

Central Narrative: Records show that Pustula flowers originate from a British chemist and botanist called Gavin Birkin, who seems to have come from a alternate dimension. This chemist seems to have been experimenting on the Pustula Serum to evolve humanity to the next stage. How the flowers reached our dimension is still unknown.

• Loss of hearing
• Loss of Sight
• Coughing up blood
• Rapid nosebleeds
• Rapid Memory Loss
• Bursts of Adrenaline

• Strange anomalous abilites

It would be seen that in 30% of all Pustula cases, the subject gained a random anomalous property, effectively turning them into a SCP.

The roses are that the idea seems to be solid and a lot of thought has been put in! I am honestly impressed at how succinctly you described your object and each aspect of it and it’s history. The big thorn of this proposal is that it doesn’t seem to be an anomaly that the Foundation would be concernEd about. They appear to understand the object, know it’s full history, it doesn’t really do anything extraordinary beyond the rules of what a flower could theoretically do, etc. The only really anomalous aspect is that it came from a different dimension. But otherwise it appears to be a normal, although unique, flower. So I’m going to throw it to you. Can you tell me what makes your flower anomalous and worthy of Foundation containment? And what is the inspiration/ importance of the very thorough flower description?

The main reason it is supposed to be contained is that it can cause anomalous properties in those that consume the liquid. Kinda forgot to mention that part, but I'll try and edit it in now.
