An old fashioned town full of people that mostly don't speak, and those who can talk seem to want everyone to enter the town hall.
I moved and trimmed your thread summary, since it was taking up extra space in the main forum screen. Try to keep thread descriptions (the text in the little box under the thread title) and titles short so you don't crowd out other authors in the forum listing. ~Zyn

Page Type: SCP Article
Page Layout (Optional): Standard SCP layout but centered around exploration logs.
Elevator Pitch: There's this town in the middle of Tennessee where the people don't speak at all, and instead "communicate" through a hive mind. All of the town's technology and its peoples' behaviors are similar to to what was expected in the mid 1960s. There are a few citizens who are capable of talking, and use this to try to convince outsiders to enter the town hall, where they will be added to the collective.
Central Narrative: The story would center around the audio logs recorded from three D-Class (or maybe some other rank) instructed to explore the town and tell of anything odd they find. The whole town ends up being like a caricature of what someone from the 60s would think is the "perfect society." At some point, one of the explorers will enter the town hall, and they won't exit. In the next day and the next audio log, the one who entered the town hall will be found behaving exactly like the other SCP citizens.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: The whole air of the town will be very unnerving and leave many questions. It will be hinted at that this town was made by some entity in the mid 60s to reflect what it believed was the perfect society, but how that happened and what lies beneath the surface appearance of the town will remain largely unknown.
Additional Notes: This is my first time writing on this website, so please be brutally honest with your criticism so I can efficiently learn exactly what is expected from articles from this site.
