Hi, MekaGojiStudios, this idea is incomplete.

As reviewers, when considering the quality of an idea, we require a certain degree of detail and description in order to allow us to properly judge the content and merit of it. This idea lacks anywhere near the detail we would require. To get a sense of what level of detail we require, look around at many of the other ideas that have been posted on the forums, especially those that have received greenlights. There is a general standard that can be clearly gleaned. Reviewers should be able to get a clear idea of what your concept is, and what story you want to tell. Your idea currently lacks a description of what the anomaly is.

I also feel it worth pointing out that you have no narrative. SCP articles are fundamentally stories told in a unique way, and you will not be able to get greenlit without a narrative of some sort.

I recommend reading the How to Write an SCP guide if you haven't already. It will give you a better sense of the general expectations the site audience has for content posted here. Additionally, take a read of the other guides in the Guide Hub. They will be of much use to you.

Before I get into the critique I just want to state I can't give greenlights. If you haven't already you should contact members of the butterfly squad for critique on your idea. They're experienced reviewers who can give you the greenlights you'll need; their help is invaluable so I highly recommend you get in touch with some of them.

Elevator Pitch:

There really isn't much here to go on, like almost nothing at all. What is the skip? What do you mean by coordinates? You've given a very vague outline of what your skip might be but not what it actually is or what it does. As a critter, we need as much detail as possible to give you the thorough critique your idea deserves. Me, and any other critter won't be able to give you that critique because there isn't anything to critique here.

What you need to do is, if you haven't already, is go back and come up with an anomaly and decide what it is and how it works. Then:

Central Narrative: None

You need to come up with some kind of narrative. Articles that are merely an encyclopedic-esque entity entry are not what the readerbase expect from the wiki these days. If articles are to be successful on the main-site they need to have some form of narrative &-or reader engagement. Remember this; It's not what the anomaly does that is interesting, it's how its used in relation to the narrative that is. Think about how the anomaly is used, how it came to be, what is does etc to begin to build a story around it.

Apologies for the short critique, if you can call it that. But there really nothing I can critique here. I suggest you follow OCuin's advice and read How to Write an SCP to get a basic understanding of what is expected from an article.
