Elevator Pitch:
- Half-human half-piscine anomaly.
- Takes on the appearance of the most attractive person of the individual viewing it, even if they are not real.
- Anyone who hears its voice is consideredSCP-XXXX-1 and will do anything the anomaly commands, no matter how far away they now are, or will allow themselves to be consumed by it.
- SCP-XXXX can utilise any memories/information SCP-XXXX-1 had prior.
- Recordings of it's voice produce the same effect as hearing it in person.
- If SCP-XXXX-1 is prevented from reaching the anomaly, they will do everything in their power to kill themselves.
Central Narrative: After the first deep sea expedition into the [REDACTED] in 19—, there have been reports of sailors going missing in the nearby area. Bodies/body parts of the deceased have been washing up on the shores of [DATA EXPUNGED] and the injuries sustained are becoming more and more violent, often with large chunks taken out of them.
People who went out to sea at this location and actually returned would then lure more people to go out to sea with them where it is presumed they heard SCP-XXXX's voice as well. This caught the attention of the foundation and MTF was dispatched to the location and successfully contained the anomaly however there were [DATA EXPUNGED] casualties.
The SCP remains in containment and during interviews (using speech-to-text software) shows that it is highly intelligent. It appears resentful of humans. It also expressed the desire to rid the world of humans or force them into subjugation. SCP-XXXX managed to orchestrate a large, site-wide containment breach in the early days of it's containment due to the lack of understanding of the auditory cognito-hazard it possessed. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 had to be terminated resulting in [REDACTED] casualties. Should any instances of SCP-XXXX-1, comprised of Foundation personnel, be undetected or any recording of the anomalies voice be broadcast, there is the potential for several K-class events to occur.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: Only pre-pubescent humans can see it's true form. The effects of hearing the anomalies voice may not display themselves for a substantial period of time, meaning there could be a large number of SCP-XXXX-1 instances out there, waiting to act.
