Page Layout: Standard article with a couple interview logs, and maybe an incident log or two.

Elevator Pitch: SCP-XXXX is a statue carved out of marble, modeled after a human female draped head to toe in a veil. (see artwork by Raffaelle Monti and Antonio Corradini for a visual) Despite outward solid appearances, the statue is completely hollow, however also entirely immeasurable. This void can only be entered by explicitly asking for permission from the statue, otherwise nothing will happen. Bodies that are successfully held within the statue's body dimension are kept indefinitely until sealed individual asks to go home, or outside personnel request that sealed individual be returned.

Central Narrative: Removed from a place of worship in secluded western Europe, SCP-XXXX came into the hands of the Foundation after news reached media outlets of a church burning to the ground with none of the occupants being harmed. Even though no one had evacuated the immediate area. Interviewed worshipers said that their 'Mother' had taken them to a world without pain, keeping them safe until the fires had gone before returning them home safely. There were no witnesses to this supposed other world, or how they got there. The leader of the church group was interviewed, merely saying that one only had to ask to be saved.

Most of the public would write it off as some kind of miracle or religious rambling, but those that came into direct contact with the statues effects were all anaesthetized and returned to the public. SCP-XXXX is presently being considered as a way to safely hold and transfer other SCPs during repairs or location reassignments.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: A way to bring a sense of safety to the Foundation using a Thaumiel-type without including explosives, guns, or a significant amount of bloodshed. Though not entirely harmless either.

Additional Notes: I'm still trying to pull together the 'danger' that comes with this SCP. What I was thinking was some kind of incomplete transfer or failed 'return home'. Like you're not supposed to witness the sealing or release event, and if someone does a portion of them is pulled into the void. Their consciousness if it is a sentient entity, or something like that. So possible ideas for that I could tinker with, or just get the thumbs up on expanding this idea would be great.

I should preface this by saying that I, personally, am not big into religious SCPs and the like. This has nothing to do with your concept and all to do with me, so don't fret :P

Personally, the core concept of this SCP doesn't really speak to me much. It probably has to do with me, as I said, but in my honest opinion, it's just an object that exists for the sake of being a Thaumiel. Similarly, the "trapping SCPs during reassignments" isn't particularly interesting and is just there for the sake of keeping its place as a Thaumiel.

Now, the narrative is what'll really hold this article together. The one you've put down is fairly simple, so think on how you can elevate it by evoking certain types of emotion in the interview logs. Consider reading this essay on characters to get some pointers.

Overall, you have a pretty good base, but I'm not feeling the thing as a whole. It may have to do with me not being big on this genre, but I do feel like this concept is missing that extra something. Either way, I'll let you think on it. Good luck!
