I'm trying to make other types of "Locked Box" Test for Object Classes for a giant list I'm making.

Context

I am a user of r/dankmemesfromsite19¹ and people from the subreddit have taken interest in a certain sandbox page I'm making (please note I'm never gonna upload this page to the site ever, this is just for fun) which takes the "Locked Box Test" for Object Classes in more of a humorous way:

Example

The 3AM Test (example of what I'm going for)

• If you leave it in a bedroom at night, and nothing happens, it's probably Safe.
• If you leave it in a bedroom at night, and you're not sure what it's gonna do, it's probably Euclid.
• If you leave it in a bedroom at night, and it rampages downstairs and goes to town on whatever is left in your refrigerator, it's probably Keter.
• If they tripped going down the stairs, and suffered many injuries while doing so, it's probably Neutralized.

What I'm asking

I made this forum post to see what the forums would suggest about this, if they could make any humorous variants of the Locked Box test to add onto my list. The topic may vary, and I know humor is subjective, so I don't mind sense of humor (to an extent). _{I'm pretty sure this is the place on the forums where I ask the question.}

You'll get your suggestion credited for people who look at the list also (not that much for now)

Other Notes

You may deviate off of the bland formatting of the original Locked Box Test if you want, or you could stick to the original Locked Box Template, as shown below:

Locked Box Template

Fill in parenthesis with whatever you have your topic as:

If (something), it's probably **Safe**.
If (something around not being sure about it), it's probably **Euclid**.
If (something), it's probably **Keter**.
If (prevents Keter from doing something), it's **Thaumiel**.

But please stick to the normal list of object classes. It is entirely optional but I recommend also throwing some esoteric object classes in too (Apollyon, Archon, etc).

Let's get creative, I can't wait to see what you think of!

The Bowling Test?

I think a bowling one would be quite nice:

+ reveal analogy

If the bowling ball is on path to knocking over the pins, it's probably Safe.

If the bowling ball is on the edge of the lane and the gutter, it's probably Euclid.

If the bowling ball suddenly veers off to the right and hits a strike 3 aisles down, it's probably Keter.

If it's the bowling ball rack, it's probably Thaumiel.

And other stuff:

If you accidentally drop the ball and break a hole into the floor, it's probably Neutralized.

If you intentionally threw the ball into the ceiling tile just to screw over the bowling alley staff, it's probably Decommissioned.

If the ball gets stuck in the middle of the lane and you embarrassingly have to call staff to retrieve it, it's probably Pending.

If the ball is actually a rotund hornet's nest and you'd rather not throw it, it's probably Cernunnos.

If the ball is really heavy, you don't want to pick it up, and it's probably best staying where it is, it's probably Archon.

Also, forgive me if this is off-topic, but I've checked the other stuff in your sandbox and it seems kinda mean-spirited? I mean, assuming you're posting this to /r/DMFS19 (which has a lot of aspiring authors in its base), I'd say it's really a bad message to be sending to authors that people who make honest mistakes which they can most certainly grow from are "idiots" and "stupid". I mean, yeah, people don't read the guides all the time, but some of the stuff in here is at a level where the jokes feel kinda… egregious and wanton.

Anyway, other than that, I do think this is a nice idea, and hope you get some luck in attracting some people on to help you with this.

If you punch it and it won't kill you, it's safe.

If you punch it and it might kill you, it's safe or euclid.

If you punch it and it will definitely kill you, it's euclid or keter.

If you punch it and it will end the world, it's keter.

If you punch it and it and it gets ended, it's now neutralized.

If it's better off not getting punched, Archon most SCPs.

Object classes are not based off how deadly the object is. Object classes are based around how hard to object is to obtain. A cat that teleports around the world randomly would be keter, whereas a button that ends the world would be safe.

If it's your plan all along that it will become a box and just sitting there like a good box, it's Safe.

If it become a box because of the box's infohazard propertie, then it's likely to be Box class: Box ;P

If you tell a foundation member it's escaped and they look at you funny, it's probably Safe.
If you tell a foundation member it's escaped and they act mildly concerned, it's probably Euclid.
If you tell a foundation member it's escaped and they flip the fuck out, it's probably Keter.
If you tell a foundation member it's escaped and they ask if you mean a different scp, it's Thaumiel.

That's a terrible guide because some escaped Safe anomalies can end the world and some escaped Keter anomalies are as dangerous as a soap bubble. Danger and resulting fear are not what containment class is based on, it's based on how easy it is to contain in the first place.

If you bashed it with a locked box and feel indifferent, it's irrelevant.

If you bash it you throw the locked box away by instinct and just punch it in its face, it's Selachian.

And that's all that matter.
