Its a sentient elephant that changes into any animal to protect itself and to survive in a harsh environment and also changes into a human every year.

Page Layout (Optional): I am going to use the Anomaly Classification System (ACS)

Elevator Pitch: Its basically a sentient elephant that can change into any animal to protect itself and if the scp was in a harsh environment he will change into an animal of said environment and every new year he will change into a human, The only way to differentiate the scp from normal animals and humans is the fact that the nose of every animal and human will be replaced with the scp's trunk.

Central Narrative:

+ The updated central narrative

Through the interview logs between the scp and a researcher, We will learn about the childhood of the scp and the challenges that he had to face in the wild and how the scp discovered his anomalous properties and perspective of the scp when he was eventually contained by the scp foundation.

(For context: because the scp is animal he can't talk so the foundation made a system in which they put a QWERTY keyboard in his containment unit which is connected into a screen that shows what the scp is typing also when the scp turns into a human every new year he will be able to talk obviously.) if you think there should be another way feel free to tell me.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: I think what will be interesting to people is the fact that the scp can defend himself in multiple ways and to see the perspective of the scp when he was born and how he discovered his anomalous properties.

Additional Notes: I want to make sure that my idea is unique and original since there is so much
scp's that could have the same idea.

So, we have an elephant that is sentient/sapient/intelligent, it can shapeshift into any animal, and once a year it takes a turn as being human?

A central narrative is not optional. SCP articles are stories, and the anomaly is merely the vehicle for that story.

Additionally, in your effort to create a unique anomaly, you've made one that isn't very coherent. All animals have defense mechanisms, that's why they're still around. Either they reproduce in the uncounted -illions, or they grow defensive weapons, or they get smarter, everything has developed methods to survive in environments that are hostile to at least some forms of life.

That's just how biology works.

The fact that it's got a trunk in every form almost defeats the purpose of being able to shapeshift. Is it shifting to gain new weapons? If it's in a single environment, why not just shift into the thing most capable of surviving in that environment?

As of now, this is just a thing that does a thing, and it doesn't do that thing all that well.

A skip about a shapechanger that uses its anomalous abilities to survive might be interesting if this had a narrative to support it, but as it stands, it does not.

I will not be giving this a go-ahead.

The scp has multiple ways to defend himself by changing into another animal for example if the scp was attacked by a lion he will change into a hippo and attack the lion with its mouth or the scp could
change into a cobra and bit the lion.

If the scp was in a harsh environment that he can't survive or will not survive, The scp will change into an animal that is capable of surviving and if the scp was in an environment that he is capable of surviving he will stay the same and will not change into another animal.

I added the trunk because if the scp breached containment or escaped, The scp foundation will have a way to differentiate the scp from normal animals or humans but if you have another way the foundation could differentiate the scp from normal animals or humans feel free to tell me.

The scp change its from if being attacked or treated by an animal or a human with some kind of a weapon and also the scp change its from to protect itself.

At the time when I read Zyn forum post about the updated "HOW TO USE THIS FORUM - IDEAS", I didn't understand it very much so I put none, But now I realize that I have should of spent more time thinking about it.

I'm going to write the central narrative later because its getting late and I need to go to sleep.
