Author,
Per the new required reading forum guidelines: http://www.scp-wiki.net/forum/t-13095662/required-reading:how-to-use-this-forum-ideas please fill out the new concept template to seek feedback on your idea:
**Seeking Greenlights:** Put yes or no.
**Page Type:** SCP Article, Tale, GoI Format, Joke SCP, Site Dossier, Other (specify)
**Genre (Optional):** Horror, Drama/Emotional, Comedy, Action, History, Other (specify)
**Page Layout (Optional):** [How will you will structure the page in terms of information presentation, or plot development? If you plan on using a unique format/format screw, describe that here.]
**Elevator Pitch:** [What is the basic core idea? Use a bullet point list if necessary.]
**Central Narrative:** [Describe the story beats or overarching context/"big picture" for your piece. If there is no story content, put "none".]
**Hook/Attention-Grabber:** [What is novel/unique about your premise? What is special about your idea here that will make it stand out among the other works already on the mainsite?]
**Additional Notes:** [Note any concerns or particular areas of assistance you would like reviewers to focus on.]
Rather than posting a new comment, edit your previous post using the "edit" function under the "options" tab to the lower right of your first comment.
Remember that the combined text for your answers to the the last four sections (Elevator Pitch, Central Narrative, Hook/Attention-Grabber, and Additional Notes) MAY NOT exceed 400 words. For convenience, authors can use this page to check wordcount: https://wordcounter.net/
Once you have revised your post accordingly, please reach out to reviewers to request that they look at your thread. You can find example lists of contacts in the Required Reading thread linked above.
I've looked through the forum about how to write a critique/IRC post for scp ideas and i still don't get it. There's this copy and paste list i got on my first post because it wasn't formatted correctly, and after looking at it and the link given which takes you to a page about how to format basically has the same thing on it. I don't know if I'm supposed follow the exact format as it says stuff like genre paper type etc. but some stuff i also just don't understand can someone please simplify this for me or just tell me exactly what and how i am supposed to go about this
Out of curiosity, what grade are you currently in at school? Most successful SCP authors have at least some college-level writing experience, since clinical tone is typically covered in college. If you haven’t encountered clinical tone or writing analytical essays in school yet, it can be hard to write an article that possesses the unique "flash fiction as written by a professional scientist" tone the site audience is looking for. If you tell us where you are academically, we can recommend some materials you can study up on, such as these college resources for clinical tone:

I am a junior in high school and I have done things like this before as stated flash fiction I am quite good at it, it’s just kinda hard for me to understand the copy and paste format they sent me and I was hoping somone could simplify for me so don’t worry I’m fine in that area just don’t fully understand how to write it
If you're a junior in high school, then why do you have the literacy skills equivalent to that of an elementary school student, or at least in early middle school, no offense. Copy is done with CTRL (or ⌘ if on Mac) and C at the same time, and Paste is done with CTRL/⌘ with V. You can then edit the words you would like, and not just use the template yourself.
P.S.: I am a freshman in high school, and generally have writing skills equivalent of one, and I'm not perfect either. Please, just try with your articles.
To be completely honest, your forum post typing reads more like that of a middle schooler, rather than a high school upperclassman. If you want community members to believe you're in high school, ideally punctuate your posts properly and use more than just one run-on sentence.
If you're unsure of how to use the new template, have you taken a look at the dozens of other threads that follow it, as an example? What do you need help with to understand the template?
