I fucking love these author commentary pages so much.

For the record, the format screw in 2161 is a big part of me loving it, as is the end note (which, hey, I like!). Also:

One last bit of trivia - to try for verisimilitude in the 0555 entry on Day 5, I typed it with my knuckles.

Christ, my knuckles would hurt by the end of that, and it also makes it really seem that much more effective.

Announcing an update to my author page - actually a series of updates since I first posted it, which include:

• New spoilers and trivia for 2 SCPs, 4 Tales and 3 Poems written since posting the page!¹

• Links to two audio adaptations!

• A graveyard for deleted items and lessons learned!

• An explanation of my avatar!

• Actual sensible formatting! Tabs, even!

Update - MTF contest works

To celebrate having two tales hit +50 in the same week, I'm announcing an update to my author page, including author's notes on the three tales I wrote for the MTF contest and the On Mount Golgotha canon.

More On Mount Golgotha stuff is coming to the site soon, so now is a great time to feel SCP-012's compulsion effect for yourself!

Announcing a further series of updates to my author page - spoilers, trivia and some technical thoughts on:

• SCP-2366 - "Ils coopéraient ensemble" - including why I picked the 2366 mainlist slot, and a hint at which canon this is really about.

• SCP-2365 - "The universe is trying to tell you that it hates you" - including a long technical breakdown on my shortest ever article.

• SCP-2368 - "Across the Water" - including a slightly shameful attribution for the idea of the skip.

• SCP-2130-J - "But seriously, folks…" - in which I justify posting a totally serious article on the -J list, hopefully without succumbing to SCP-005-J-EX.

• Our Mutual Guide - which has some hints about the significance of the imagery involved in the third set of psychedelic visions in an "On Mount Golgotha" Tale.

• Pattern Breaker - in which I note the double (triple?) meaning of the title, explain how ProfetiX cheated the pattern breakers, and lament a slightly unsatisfactory ending.

Another author page update

Having finished a series of changes to bring my author page (just about) up to date, I thought I'd let you know - now you can read the ideas behind / spoilers for / trivia about a bunch of works over the past year, including:

• SCP-2519 - with hints that this is about more than just sad robots.

• SCP-2139 - spelling out all of the connections to other skips, and to the Order of the Hyacinth's master plan.

• SCP-3512 - letting you know the Easter Egg that everyone missed.

• SCP-3301 Testing Log - who's who, why half of the people playing this iteration of the game end up dying, and (in case you missed it) pointing out my Scooby Doo reference.

• Boxes - what makes this my most political work for the wiki.

• Counterpoint - what musical form I tried to mimic and how this tale made me look like a serial killer.

• Until Death - why I decided to break your headcanon :)

"Trivia: in the first Investigation Note, Rey offers to show Cooper the Barcelona skyline. Cooper seems to misinterpret that as a social invitation, but it's actually a reference to SCP-2728 ("On the Barcelona Skyline") - Rey wants to show her the town's other major anomaly. No-one picked this up - not even DarkStuff, the author of 2728!"

This is all a great read! Definitely inspirational for giving some commentary.

Just a note though: you do repeat yourself twice in stating your reason for downvoting author pages.

Weird - I have no idea how that repetition came about! I promise it's not just wordcount in the quest for the longest author page on the site :) Now fixed.
