A humanoid entity that whenever it lies reality changes to make it the truth if he is answering a person. It doesn’t effect memories though
Kind of seems overpowered to me. Seems too similar to the child who can also rewrite reality based on her beliefs. The Foundation put her in a medically induced coma and plan to keep her that way for the rest of her life. The same would probably happen with this guy since the moment he figures out how his powers work, he could unmake the world if he wanted. Might need some limitations.
Interesting. I could see how this could pose a major problem to the Foundation in containing it and how the SCP could wreak havoc on anything ever just by conveying false information through any medium.
What you have currently is the "Superpowered humanoid" or "X-Man" concept. An SCP article is much more than simply an anomalous item, being, place, or event. The true meat of the SCP is the story around the anomalous thing. The thing itself is a vehicle that the narrative is attached to. To give my best example from Series 1, look at SCP 093: The anomalous item itself is a rock that turns mirrors into interdimensional portals. The thing that makes this SCP shine is the story; the history of the dimension that it leads to.
Essay Regarding SCPs, Narratives, and How They Can Share a Page
There are other guides there that can be very helpful, but these are some of the most often recommended for first-time contributors.
As you are pitching a humanoid SCP idea, I also recommend reading So You Want To Write A Humanoid SCP Object to assist in avoiding the "X-Men problem."
We need to know more than just "it's a being that can change reality to fit his answers." What story are you going to tell - How The Foundation found him, Who or what created him and why, did someone use him to some end? Does he have his own goals? What's his personality like? Is he even aware of this power? (These are not all questions that must be answered, these are some possible narrative hooks.)
This ability also seems INCREDIBLY overpowered. If someone asked him what color the sky is and he said "green", that would just….happen? If someone asked him what all life on earth is based on and he said silicon, that would just…happen? If someone asked him what the Earth is mostly composed of and he said "raspberry jam," that would just happen? Seems like there's literally nothing that he could not change.
I recommend reading a significant amount of the top-rated SCPs from the last several months, and focus on reading more recent SCPs rather than older series. Many early series SCPs would not last a day under current SCP standards, and a few are only still around because of their history with the wiki itself. (This does not apply to all early series SCPs, but many of these were written before the wiki's style had really been cemented.)
The anomalous entity, while important, is not actually the main focus of the SCP. A good story, a compelling narrative, something that makes the reader feel something - that is the goal of an SCP article. What feeling do you want to evoke from the reader? Horror? Empathy? Sadness? You need to create a narrative around this object and its effects.
I am not saying this to discourage you, I just want you to understand the amount of effort that goes into creating a successful SCP.
If you can revise this idea with a story that you want to tell, we will be able to give you much more meaningful and constructive critique.
The anomalous being is the vehicle, the narrative is the person driving, the readers are the passengers. You can have the shiniest, most polished, most interesting vehicle in the world, but without the driver, the passengers aren't going anywhere. Where is the narrative taking the readers, and how is it getting them there?

(Dr. Ferrum, PM me if you want anymore help and when you update this, i ain't no critter but i know a thing or two about brainstorming and would love to help.)
Sorry if this is messy:
This idea is great as a part of something bigger. This is the superpower of a character, now make this superpower either symbolic of something or part of a story that is a metaphor for something. I know it is weird to turn a simple idea ibto a story but this tip has always helped me: what do you think when you think "lies"? Write like 10-20 answers, and ruminate. Then chose the ones that feel most connected to you and imagine how they could be told about through the actions of people and soperheros. Still not a story, just some ideas. Then you think about making a plot that is wrapped around lies, and the consequences of those answers you wrote down, the plot may or may not include the characters but it sure ass hell would be a story about super heros lying, and the world conforming to them. Now this is the scp foundation and the story you are writing is about the foundation's point of view, and you'll have to bend over a little bit to shove in some one elses point of view, so you either make the foundation discuss "lies" in the document as the main thing or they are just trying to prevent the sickness by treating the symptoms- not letting it speak and freaking out about the changes that have already been lied into existance.
In any case what most of us are saying is: you need a story. And all you got is a super power, i usggest you build.the story from the super power through ruminating on what that superpower means to you. Lies are a form of misscomunication, so you could also take it in the RAISA or the Department of Miscommunication direction. Treat this as a study into lies, read up on lies, and draw your own conclusoon, and let that rumination and research guide you and show in the next version of this idea
In my opinion there are two types of reality benders: local reality and ansolute truth. This seems like both of them and i do agree with Doctor Fullham, you should read what he said. Here are some things that you should know about when writing this Mr. Lie This reality bender, This friendly absolute reality bender that looks like hesonly local., and finally This is in my eyes one of the best self aware fourth wall break reality bender thing ever. so check these out and read more things with thee tag "reality bender" to see what was done and what people have come to expect and chose if you want to make that storyline better or if you want to twist it.
thank you the reading and have the best day
