Today I've been working on the idea for my very first SCP article ever, and this is what I have so far. It's an early concept: Four things all tied together. A woman named Violet, the city of Violet in Texas, a Violet (the flower), and the concept of the color Violet. I haven't decided how to go about the way they are anomalously linked, but I have some ideas. My main question is if something too similar to this has already been done, which I fear might be the case.

I mean, we really have no idea what you're doing with the idea, and that's what's important. Many ideas are very similar when you get them down to bare bones, but the execution is far more vital than the idea. For what it's worth, I personally do not know of any SCPs that use this base idea.
