An SCP that destroys any object as long as it can fit inside of the SCP and the SCP is given sufficient power. After the destruction of the object, the SCP can upload a plethora of information about the object. The information is collected and compiled by an A.I due to the amount of information contrived from the destruction of the object is so vast that it would take ages to find specific information about the object and the amount of raw data from the SCP would be impossible to store. The AI has been modified from a soul to create an extremely complex A.I that can properly provide the data wanted. This SCP is planned to be the beginning of a line of SCPs focused on anomalous technical properties mixed with a soul modified A.I. All of these SCPs are found in one location and created by one person. This SCP is meant to act as the first device created by this person.

An SCP with the ability to destroy/disassemble any object as long as it has sufficient power. The SCP also has the ability to provide any information the user wills it to give. The information is collected and compiled by an A.I that has been modified from an abuser's soul.

Destroy and disassemble are two very different things. Does it work on everything? Like, humans? Or just inanimate objects? What is "sufficient power"?

This really feels like you've just thrown some attributes onto an object. These abilities don't really appear to have any sort of connection to each other. Can you elaborate a bit on these? How is answering questions related to disassembling things? Why an AI? Why an abuser's soul? There's so much there that leaves so many unanswered questions.

Well then you're going to have to answer a lot of questions in this SCP. I personally would not recommend an SCP meant to establish a PoI or GoI as your first. Every SCP needs to stand on its own, apart from any others or any established PoI/Canon/GoI/whatever. Maybe have this all be under one umbrella, with XXXX being the person and XXXX-# being the stuff they create?

There are other guides there that can be very helpful, but these are some of the most often recommended for first-time contributors.

General Notes

We need to know more than just "it's an object (I couldn't find a physical description of it, to be honest) that disassembles/destroys things and answers questions." What story are you going to tell - How The Foundation found it, Who or what created it and why, did someone use it to some end? (These are not all questions that must be answered, these are some possible narrative hooks.) You need something that differentiates this as an SCP, instead of just an Anomalous Item.

I also recommend reading a significant amount of the top-rated SCPs from the last several months, and focus on reading more recent SCPs rather than older series. Many early series SCPs would not last a day under current SCP standards, and a few are only still around because of their history with the wiki itself. (This does not apply to all early series SCPs, but many of these were written before the wiki's style had really been cemented.)

The anomalous object, while important, is not actually the main focus of the SCP. A good story, a compelling narrative, something that makes the reader feel something - that is the goal of an SCP article. What feeling do you want to evoke from the reader? Horror? Empathy? Sadness? You need to create a narrative around this object and its effects.

I am not saying this to discourage you, I just want you to understand the amount of effort that goes into creating a successful SCP.

If you can revise this idea with a story that you want to tell, we will be able to give you much more meaningful and constructive critique.

The anomalous item is the vehicle, the narrative is the person driving, the readers are the passengers. You can have the shiniest, most polished, most interesting vehicle in the world, but without the driver, the passengers aren't going anywhere. Where is the narrative taking the readers, and how is it getting them there? You have the threads of a story with this person or beng creating these anomalous….things, but I feel like that should be your focus with the anomalous objects serving to aid the narrative, rather than be the focus.

I realize that I have failed to clearly state my idea to it's fullest. Please allow me to clarify many things.

First, the device destroys the things it analyzes. It does not dissemble I don't know why I continued to write disassemble. If you put an object into the device it destroys it and its gone.

Next, it works on everything as long as three requirements are met: 1. The object that is being destroyed must fit in a space of 0.5 cubic meters 2. The device is given enough power to complete the analysis 3. The machine is given enough time to complete its task.

For power, the device works on wattage or Soul Energy (SE). The amount of power is determined by the complexity of the object (physical complexity, age, function, anomalous function, etc.) with watts being a lower amount of power and SE being a higher amount of power. SE is considered the energy that comes from the soul. SE functions as your senses when it comes to detecting other souls (being able to tell when someone is around) and being able to tell a souls condition (the ability to just know something is wrong with someone, telling someone is hurt without sensible knowledge, being able to institutively know someone's emotions).

The device was original a tool used by a cult to gain knowledge on everything. The device was later put in the hands of the person mentioned in my original post after the cult disbanded. The person then took the device made it more usable since it originally didn't have a good way of collecting power and all of the information gathered from the device would be forced into a single person's mind
causing major brain damage to the users.

The person made it so the device can use wattage, give an estimation for the amount of time the analysis would take, the amount of time the process would take, and a way to get the only information the user would want in a way that could be more easily used. The first few things were done through physical tinkering while the fix for the tons of information being shoved into the user's mind was fixed through the A.I.

The A.I acts as a buffer and organizer for the information gained from the device. Instead of everything about an object being shoved into your mind now the information you wish to gain from an object is put within computer files (documents, videos, audio, pictures, etc.). The A.I. can complete this task due to it being created from a soul. The idea is that the soul can be taken converted into digital data and tweak to become a powerful A.I. that wants to work for its users.

The idea is that the story told from through the SCP is a story of hope. The idea that there are tools in the world that are being created that can be extremely helpful for the foundation in finding a way to contain SCPs and protect the world. For the entire group of SCPs, the idea is that this device is the beginning of the device's creator's journey into the anomalies.

Hopefully, this clarifies the idea. Sorry for taking so long to reply I didn't see it until I woke up this morning and my school blocks the internet form my devices.

With the new edits and information provided are there any new suggest about the idea. Am I still missing things. I'm really new to making these posts so sorry if I'm giving barely any details and then to many.
