I hope this time I am doing this right. I already finished my article in sandbox but it seems the idea must be greenlighted here first before posting it on drafts forum (correct me if I am wrong).

OK, here it is.

The story goeas as following. Message board user posts story about something he witnessed during war; during clandestine operation/ambush he witnessed canine-like being materialise and slaughter enemy unit first, then his own unit as they try to retreat. Foundation crawlers find the story and it is investigated. It is discovered that spatial anomaly exist on given location that allows transit of hostile canines to our dimension, yet they can not leave it due to id being bordered by 4 trees with misterious carvings. Anomaly is classified as safe but after incident involving terrorist organisation, it is reclassifed as Euclid.

OK, that is it, story is finished in sandbox so if anyone wants link for further reviewing, simply ask me to send it.

Have to add something. I really (I mean in real life) heard story about large canines killing soldiers during war in ex-Yugoslavia (Balkan Peninsula, Europe) in wild forests of border between Bosnia and Montenegro. I lived there and survived the war for real. After learning about SCP project, i though that the story I heard long time ago might be good addition to other stories here, modified to fit the setting.

Ok, this idea has potential. You need to focus it a bit more, however. Is the skip about the dogs or about the portal?

Create a framework around the core concept of the skip itself. Tell a story about it within the medium provided. Testing logs of "hey, here's this thing, it now does this when I do that" is boring. A letter from the soldier to their ma about "OH GODS, THERE ARE THESE DOGS" might be great fun and create a chilling atmosphere.

Does the SCPF send a team through to the other side? What's over there? How does it fit into the overall narrative of the SCP universe? There are a lot of ways to make this interesting, and I'm curious as to where it will go.

I do like that you're from that area and you know what it was actually like during that time period. You lived through the fear and chaos, and I think the trick will be how you translate that into the written word to share with us a snapshot of what it was like.

Greenlight, on the strength that you're talking about a part of the world and events in it that you're familiar with and I am not. Tell me a story, help me to feel that horror.

of explanation how to do it makes absolutely no sense. I uploaded file but i do not understandt what to replace, tried replacing "=" with "|" or "]]" but it still does not work.

Your image file has a space and an extra period in it, which can mess with the coding. Ideally, your image filename would just be one word, no spaces or punctuation. So not "Item 11.12C.jpg" but "Item1112C.jpg".

tried replacing "=" with "|" or "]]" but it still does not work.

The symbols are used as guidelines to show you where to add your article text/image caption. You are not supposed to add in those symbols anywhere.

The basic idea here doesn't feel developed enough for me to get on-board yet. I know you have a draft, but I also have a backlog of things to do on the site, so you'll need to meet me halfway and explain the story you intend to tell a little more completely here.

Hostile canines aren't new to the site. There are some pretty famous ones, and you're going to need to work hard to make these stand out. So far, they've been described as "hostile canines." What about them? Are they just angry dogs, or is there something more interesting about them? Frankly, this story could be about hostile vampire ballerinas and not change significantly based on the pitch so far.

What's the deal with the portal and the four trees? Why are those trees trapping the hounds here? Who created those glyphs, and for what purpose? What terrorist attack caused problems, what kind of problems, and who were the terrorists? You might not have to specify those details in the story depending on what you write, but you should have an answer to this, because if you don't, it just comes off as vague and hand-wavey.

Hello Francis, thank you very much for this critique. I sent you PM with details about story background; as you will see, everything is covered as good as possible. I answered all of your questions. I really survived war in former Yugoslavia and still live there (Bosnia, former part of Yugoslavia) and my whole story is based on real life events, rumours, locations, organisations, names. I just modified some details in order to fit it in SCP Foundation concept.

For future reference, I'd recommend against hiding all the mythology details from the public pitch. These things should have enough detail in them for your reviewers to not need to read a draft to understand the story you want to tell.

I'll go ahead and follow MalyceGraves and give you a second greenlight, but as I say with all mythology-inspired SCP ideas, I'd strongly recommend that you treat the source material as inspiration and not feel pinned by it. Myths, urban legends, and the like are similar to dreams: they can be interesting, as long as you don't examine the logic of them too closely. SCP articles tend to be very logical and grounded stories, and readers generally won't cooperate if your logic for including some element or mechanism is, "That's what the myth says happened." Focus less on servicing the myth and more on the audience.
