The idea for my SCP is being able to lure people inside to trap them to follow the paths set before them. The object being an abandoned animation studio built out of wood and steel, made to look like a small 1900's 2-story commercial workshop. The reason as to why it lures people in is mostly unknown. The only reasonable assumption is it wants those who once worked there, to return to it and cure it of its misery and the souls of others trapped within. To cure this misery, the person trapped inside must presumably destroy the darkness kept deep within the dank and inky parts of an old machine. Said darkness has yet to be discovered. It lures people in through mysterious letters that randomly arrive at the homes of retired employees or the family of the diseased employee. All signed by the same name, Joey Drew, owner of Joey Drew Studios. It gives them the original address to where it once stood, but upon arriving on the site, the person disappears and later reappears on the lawn of the Studio in another random location. This location being in the same dimension and the same plane as ours. It was discovered by the Foundation in 1935 when Henry Stein the long-time partner of Joey Drew, was discovered missing and last seen entering the Studio at its original location when it had been, according to city records, demolished. Foundation officials stepped in and were able to provide a cover up story, and give memory implants to those who had witnessed the event. Using several D-Class personal, the Foundation was able to track down and contain it, and has since then been under the supervision of Foundation containment crews from Site 19.
