So this SCP is an incorporeal entity made out of light and is currently in the shape of a fairy (it can change form freely if it wants).
Why does it choose this shape?
It has the ability to heal people, although it's knowledge of human anatomy is limited as it came from a different universe (thank you t7 for the idea) and so it sometimes heals the wrong parts, which often leads to much unwanted consequences. Thus after discovery, the Foundation helps it with learning human anatomy and also use it to heal injured personnels.
So, it seems as though its early attempts at healing don't go so well. Why does The Foundation osee good intentions here?
You also have a bit of a contradiction here:
the entity has its healing powers amplified based on how strong the will of the host to heal other people is.
But…
The entity's healing capability is based on how much healing power it has.
Which one is it?
the entity can only manifest itself by using astral projection and thus the host must be asleep. It can have global presence due to this.
Astral projection is not the same as dreaming. And what do you mean by "global presence"? If it can only manifest this way, how does The Foundation communicate with it?
Attaching to a soul other than a kid's has the following effect :
- To a normal adult : it's light diminishes slowly.
- To Foundation researchers/security/MTFs : it's light diminishes much faster.
- To D-Class personnel : refused by the entity as it can cause instant death.
So an adult cannot have a pure soul, Foundation staff are worse people than all other adults, and D-Class are the worst people in the world? Seems a bit presumptuous. The Foundation employs all kinds of people, including researchers, medical professionals, and psychiatrists. Why does working for The Foundation taint your soul?
It can roam freely in the safe areas of the site and interact with Foundation personnel.
SCPs that are so benevolent they're allowed to roam freely are, generally speaking, not well-received on the forums anymore. It was actually one of the prompts for the Cliche Contest held in early 2019. Not impossible to make it worth, but you've gotta justify a LOT.
It's also allowed to heal 1 parent it wants each month where the Foundation can cover its tracks easily.
Where is it finding out about these parents? Like, what is this thing's range of knowledge of the world? Why parents? What if a child's best friend is dying and that makes them sad, does it not care about that? What about pets?
And who is the entity inhabiting while it's at Site-19? Because I don't care what entity is attached to them, you can not convince me that The Foundation is allowing a child to roam a site. Nope. That is a bridge too far for me.
And, most importantly: How does the Foundation find out about it, why does it choose to allow itself to be contained, and why does it reveal itself to anyone at all? It seems like it'd be really easy for it to just remain hidden forever.
