An event where websites get replaced by counterparts from a supposed utopic country.
I trimmed your thread summary above, since it was taking up a lot of space on the forum listing. Try to keep thread descriptions and titles under 7 lines so you don't visually crowd out other people's threads. ~Zyn
The idea is a monthly event that affects a whole country (usually located around Central America) for a single minute. It would attempt to slowly create a supposedly utopic country known as Republic of Kingston, initially by generating websites (which showcase Kingston's supposed existence and its many positive qualities) replacing the ones the affected territory would normally have access to, but later expanding to permanent changes, like creating and spreading a new form of currency in online banks and transforming individuals, vehicles and buildings in Central America into new ones belonging to Kingston. While the website generation is instantaneous, the creation of new instances and conversion of existing ones happens slowly, with only around 4 or 5 instances being created/converted each time the SCP manifests itself
The Foundation would document the SCP's activity. At one point, they would find a man (created by the SCP itself) with the same characteristics as the supposed ruler of the Republic of Kingston and interview him. He would attempt to negotiate the addition of one of the foundation's sites to his properties, but would fail.
Since that event, which preceded a kingstonian attack to one of the SCP containment sites (attacks are done by battleships created by the SCP during past months), the expansion of the SCP's utopic country would become more apparent and threatening to the rest of the world.
Any thoughts?
