One nitpick: It's actually fairly common in the US military, and perfectly acceptable, for a person in a superior position to call a subordinate "Miss," "Missus," or "Mister," even if that subordinate is an officer. It is not cool, however, for a subordinate to address a superior as "Mister," "Miss," or "Missus."

Other than that, this provides some pretty neat insight into the Foundation Space Program and the SOTM canon, even if it's not quite on the same level with some of the other stories so far.

Edit: OK, just so I make sense, I brought up the US military because the whole thing, especially the command structure, seemed loosely based on US military stuff.

Just an FYI, I went ahead and changed the audio player from Flash to HTML5, as Flash is rapidly losing support and already can't be viewed by many people, including Firefox and Mobile users. No content changes were made, and the article is otherwise unchanged.

Great tale, I like how this canon shapes up.

One thing in particular, though:

54,451 Kilometers from FORC-05. High Earth Orbit

I noticed all the headers of this sort say "High Earth Orbit". Technically they should all say "High Theta-c Orbit", however Theta-c isn't really designated at this point in the story. I would fix it but I'm not sure what else would fit there. Other than that, this is good: I like space combat.
