A reimagining of Ecce Perago. And another thing.
What a phenomenal fucking tale. You nail the tone, the mood, and the psyche of your characters here in such a neat way. +1
Six ate Two.
Six ate Two. 6 ate 2. 682. You motherfucker.
Oh my god. It took me until this comment.
I admit the point flew over my head, but the pieces are fitting together now. Why Six and not Four? Why out of order when the original counted down? For the pun of it. And I can definitely appreciate any terrible pun with a long build-up.
From the Foundation joke book: "Why is 5 afraid of 6? Because 6 ate 2!"
It hit me when the room filled up with acid and I had to sound out the last bit to myself.
Very very clever indeed.
Holy hell. I'd be lying to say I liked it quite as much as the original, but this is one hell of a tale. The difference in perspective from the original and the way you changed it around while still having it be distinctly familiar are brilliant. You've written an amazing(ly creepy) tale.
Enh.
All right, the idea itself is interesting, but as a reimagining of Ecce Perago… I feel like you focused too much on six, and didn't give enough detail, or screen time, to the other ones. One of what I feel is the key of my story is that, in very short segments, you get a REALLY good idea of who the O5 are. This… made it feel like the O5 didn't matter, and were nothing more then props, or mannequins in the story. Not characters, but stand ins.

Acid. Immortality. Psychopathy. Six ate Two. I just got it.
Google told me that "vescatur" on its own meant "dining." Okay, I thought, that makes sense considering the content. But where does "the finish" come in? I typed in "perago" and started laughing. Don't spoil the end in the beginning.
Broken Goddammit, Randomini. Broken Goddammit.
Edit: So my two comments here aren't complete spam, allow me to share my actual opinion of this piece of writing.
It's funny, in an awful and offensive way. It's very violent/gory, in a way reminiscent of the Snipper's like, entire role in The Cool War. However, I enjoyed it as a story. And the two puns that I have so far discovered are awful, but have to be permitted if we're going to let good writing like this on the site. Good job and good luck, Randomini.
This is honestly brilliant. The writing here's pretty on the spot in most regards. Although I didn't get the final twist until it was pointed out in the comments…

It's like a Hotline Miami-flavored Ecce Perago, but as Ecce Perago, it doesn't really stand out.
The references and what it reimagines, however, elevate it to a point where I'm comfortable upvoting it.
Like others said, it doesn't work as well as Ecce Perago, however the fact that this is also a 682 re-imagining is what made me upvote. I could easily get behind this being 682's origin if it, you know, fitted well with the current 682.
