Welp. This is a thing. Probably the most over the top thing on the site.

So long, Duke till Dawn. You have been dethroned.

Also, this was so much fun to write, since I wrote almost all of it in a single 8 hour period and was bouncing off the walls with hype by the end.

Also, musical accompaniment for this tale is "No Time For Caution" from Interstellar for Nanami's organ scene, and "End Run" from Mass Effect 2 for the last stretch.

Note what they have been doing / talking about the entire time.

A "process" of "Universal rebirth." Wizard's visions were always of entropy and the end of the universe, and his time in the mind ocean gave him those visions and feelings not only compounded, but repeated.

So… why create the Foundation? It doesn't really advance the goal of "destroy the universe", and in fact it's kind of counterintuitive, given that there's plenty of SCPs that would make achieving that goal way easier if the Overseers hadn't decided to contain them.

Just a question the Overseers are the ones of the Foundation or ones that created the Solidarity, follow it and re-start the universe every time that the Foundation in that universe fails to hide the anomalies.

Let me get this straight:
The Overseers are Eldritch Abominations that live lived in the moon?

A brilliant and crazy story, but I hope that killing the Overseers is the reason that SCP-2722 is in our universe. Otherwise, Earth's in trouble. That might make a good sequel though…
