Salutations everyone! SoullessSingularity is looking for members interested in joining the Site Crit team as Junior Staff.
Responsibilities:
- Crit things posted on the site. There will be a minimum of 3 crits per week, preferably more if you can handle the workload.
- Join our crit IRC channel, #thecritters on Synirc, and attend monthly googledoc meetings over a weekend
- Report to me every other week to let me know how you've been keeping up with the work. It's okay if you were busy for a week or so.
What You Get In Return:
- After ~2-3 months on the team, I am able to nominate you for promotion to fully Operational Staff (which occurs every 4 months). (Note: If I choose not to nominate you, and you're curious why, I will be completely open with you about it.)
- An experience of staff ongoings, such as policy discussion and other staff shenaningans.
- The ability to post to the staff site. You won't be responsible for voting or anything but can give your view on policies relevant to site crit.
- Junior staff posts, a say in crit policy
- The opportunity to PM me a crit of yours once a week to get tips and tricks!
- No pressure- if it's not for you, there's nothing forcing you to keep at it.

How much experience do you have with critting in general- have you attended any workshops or classes IRL?
Can you link me to a recent critique you've done? Please not your best work, just what you'd normally do on the team. (Note: I'm not looking necessarily for long or thorough. Insight and the ability to point the big flaws in a quick manner is also useful.)
